Visit the Bhil Carnival

COME ON IN! JOIN THE FUN!
Each year, people of the Bhil tribe from Madhya Pradesh in central India celebrate a wonderful carnival called Bhagoria. Subhash Amaliyar, Bhil artist, paints the carnival in his traditional style. Collaborating with him are writer Gita Wolf and designers Catriona Maciver and Oliver Mayes - who turn his joyous rendering of celebration into a unique children's book.
Combining the features of a map, a pop-up and a picture book, this one of-a-kind interactive experience invites the child reader to explore, enjoy, and find her own way through the jolly maze of an Indian village carnival.
