The Gift

What could be the greatest gift that a human being can give to another? In a remote village, a young boy lies seriously ill in his mother's arms. When Dr Aquinas Edassery hears about the child's condition, she rushes to treat him. Will she be able to help the boy in time? This story illuminates the kindness and service of Dr Aquinas Edassery, the founder of Swasthya Swaraj, an NGO in Odisha. Upon retirement as a professional doctor, Dr Aquinas decided to dedicate her life to working for disadvantaged people in need of primary healthcare.
