From a relief panel the size of basketball court to cave temples and monoliths, it showcases sculptural art of an astounding level of skill and a profusion of styles that is rare to find in one location. The book takes us through this open-air museum of sorts, closing in on details through vivid photographs and narrative cues that also throw up a sea of stories - and some riddles to be unravelled!
