Anonymous A sweet little story about two little monsters that live on a hill who decide to go down to the village in the valley to keep warm one freezing winter night.
Although this is a simple, delightful and funny tale about the little monsters encountering a human on the way (they are terrified of humans!), it is a great story to introduce the idea of 'othering' to children — how we easily call those that we don't understand monsters. It is also a story about migration, if you delve deeper into the core of the story.
Very well written and thoroughly enjoyable even as a simple tale by itself.
